Rulebook Routes is a reading and comparison website. This page explains the limited information involved when you visit or write to the contact mailbox.
Messages you choose to send
Correspondence contains your email address and the text or source material you send. It is used to answer the message or investigate the article correction, and may remain with that correspondence.
Page requests and aggregate statistics
Nginx, hosting and Cloudflare security services handle request information, including addresses, requested URLs and time, to serve and protect pages. Cookie-free Umami provides aggregate page, referral, device and approximate-location statistics. There is no reader account, comment area, newsletter, checkout or on-site contact form. Umami also records article views and interactions with affiliate links or visible recommendation cards. Events can include the article ID, destination host and path, a brief link label and card identifiers, but exclude destination query parameters. Campaign tags on incoming social links help relate visits to link clicks within the same visit; they do not show merchant orders or commissions. This collection adds no cookies or persistent browser storage and respects Do Not Track.
Operating the website
Hosting, email and security providers process information needed for those services. Personal information is not sold. Operational records and correspondence are kept only as reasonably needed for the website, security, enquiries and applicable record obligations.
Questions and deletion requests
You may ask to access, correct or remove information you sent in an email. Explain which correspondence is involved; necessary security and legal records may need to be retained.
